WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER

Épanouie Skincare is the culmination of my life experience and work. I'm someone who has always had problematic skin, born with severe dermatitis, multiple allergies that cause me to break out in itchy hives and embroiled in a continuous battle with acne since my pubescent years... my skin has always been my sore spot. 

As a beauty-obsessed, self-professed 'girly girl', I became a product junkie pretty early on in life... partially because I enjoyed the ritual of application but mostly because I desperately wanted to fix my skin and feel beautiful within it. I would spend the little money I had as a teenager buying any and everything in hopes of better skin. Not much worked for me, and the few products that did produce a result still didn't give me the refined beauty I sought. 

I started out making very basic products for myself and my loved ones, who encouraged me to make product for sale. I spent several years in the research & development phase because I wanted to do something new, I didn't want to do what had already been done; I wanted to revolutionize the skincare industry and also solve my personal concerns in one fell swoop. 

It was the scariest thing I've ever done in my life, but the most rewarding. I've been able to not only help myself but thousands of people and counting, feel good in their skin, something I feel is extremely important for mental wellness, as well as physical (your skin is your largest organ!). My creations are artisanal and custom formulated to deliver a noticeable result, because who wants to keep applying a product that doesn't do anything?
